Vladimir Putin Likely To Have Had Plastic Surgery
The current Prime Minster of Russia, Vladimir Putin may have plastic surgery to thank for his new somewhat youthful appearance. A number of surgeons and journalists have commented on his fresh faced look as he prepares to stand for what would be an historic third non-consecutive term in the 2012 presidential elections. Pictures of Putin over the past decade had shown him as having increasing wrinkles and dark circles under his eyes. Recent snaps however show his facial skin looking both smooth and taut. It is possible that this has been as a result of such procedures as a face lift, cheek fillers, Botox injections or a brow lift.
As people age, many will encounter a drooping forehead which can result in eyebrows coming down further over the eyelids. This can give a person a tired and frowned look. The forehead may also then become lined as it fights against the droop to keep the elevation of the eyebrows up. These days however, surgery can easily correct these changes by lifting and changing the shape of the brow where required. In total, three forms of brow lifting methods exist. They are the open browlift, keyhole surgery and the suspension browlift. The final method is becoming increasingly more popular as it only uses very small cuts in the hairline and then stitches to hold the brow into a new position whilst it heals.
It is unclear which, if any, of these types of surgery Putin may have undergone. A spokesman for the Russian leader announced that he hadn’t been going through “any surgical interventions” – Source. Putin has made a name for himself over the years for a series of outdoor related activities and adventure acts. He is a practicing Judo 6th Dan (red/white belt) and still presides over a Dojo in Saint Petersburg. It could be that this latest move to make himself look younger is related to such activities over the years which have always seen him portrayed as a rugged, man of the people.
Face and brow lifts are surgical procedures getting increased exposure over in the UK and more people than ever are looking to go under the knife. It is vital though that the operation is conducted by a fully trained, qualified and professional cosmetic surgeon. Surgery is not a decision to be taken lightly, but with the correct hands it can be an operation that can transform someone’s life for the better.
