Don't take our word for it - here's what the patients who have come to Stephen McCulley for Breast Reconstruction have to say.
Our Breast Reconstruction feedback
Anonymous patient says...
Last August I had a mastectomy and you performed reconstructive surgery. It is now only 5 months since the operation but I am very pleased with the result – both the shape and size match well with my remaining breast. The opportunity to have reconstruction at the same time as mastectomy has certainly helped me psychologically – in fact I have never experienced that feeling of loss that many woman describe and I can only think that is because the reconstructed breast is so good. Many thanks for the skill and care you offered to me. Woman who need surgery as a result of breast cancer are very fortunate to have you working in Nottingham.

I received a copy of a letter today addressed to my GP regarding my recent TRAM flap surgery. You indicated in the letter I was “absolutely delighted”. I wish to reiterate this statement and add that I am deeply impressed by your surgical excellence, your information skills and not least by the obvious relish with which you forfill these amazing feats.
My gratitude to you is infinite and to everyone of the numerous team members involved.

I don’t have the words to describe the feelings I had when the dressings came off. What an incredible job you do for ladies like me who just want to look “normal’ again. Thank you doesn’t seem enough but I have to say it anyway. Keep doing what you do as I will be forever grateful to all of you.

I would like to thank you for the brilliant reconstruction surgery that you carried out on me in January this year. Considering the problems I have had with the previous surgery which was not done by you, your skill and knowledge have achieved a result far beyond anything I could possibly have expected.
The extremely kind and thoughtful way you acted and the clarity of your explanations when asked about anything shows that your reputation in all of these matters is well deserved.
This letter is just to express the sincere gratitude of both my husband and myself for not only your skill as a Surgeon, but your much appreciated kindness that was shown during a very traumatic time for us.
We both wish you all the very best for your future career and can happily assure any patient who has you as their Surgeon, that they should count themselves as extremely fortunate to have one of, if not, the best!
