Male Procedures

Facial Surgery
An increasing number of men are enjoying the benefits of cosmetic surgery and one of the most popular types of surgery for men is facial surgery. Stephen McCulley offers upper and lower eyelid surgery to reduce a ‘puffy’ look, a facelift to rejuvenate your appearance and reduce the signs of aging and nose re-shaping (rhinoplasty).

Body Surgery
Body surgery offers men the opportunity to get rid of unwanted fat and refine the abdomen where excessive skin, fat and stretch marks may be present, commonly as the result of significant weight loss. Liposuction can be used to target a specific area of excess fat, usually around the waist-line on men and erase any kind of ‘barrel’ appearance. The procedure relies on the skin shrinking back after fat has been removed to improve contour, so the quality and elasticity of your skin can influence the final result of liposuction. A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) will reshape the abdomen, rather than treat obesity.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynaecomastia)
Men have breast tissue under the nipple which can enlarge and form fatty tissue which resembles a breast. Usually there is no specific cause of this, but the condition can cause self-consciousness and concern amongst some men. Surgery can be performed to entirely remove the breast tissue and fat so that all swelling and protrusion is flattened. The surgery will either remove the breast tissue, or if a lot of fat is present, liposuction may also be used. This involves using a needle to gently suck the fat out.
