Costs for cosmetic surgery are usually cheaper abroad with the price of breast uplifts in European countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary generally costing less than £2,000. Cons of a breast uplift abroad
The main drawback of having breast uplift abroad is that medical facilities in some countries may not be as good as the UK and the laws on surgery might not do enough to protect you from the risks associated with surgery. It may be harder to identify whether a surgeon has the qualifications and accreditations to complete safe and successful breast uplift. UK surgeons are governed by the BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) and BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) to ensure their work is safe. You will have to account for recovery time during your stay which, when you consider the cost of flights as well, can soon mean that a breast uplift abroad is not necessarily more affordable than staying in the UK.
