This section is intended to provide women with an introduction to breast reconstruction, from the different ways in which the breast can be reconstructed to the considerations you may have to bear in mind before, during and after surgery.
In many cases, women may choose breast reconstruction as a part of their treatment for breast cancer and as a specialist in this field I hope my experience and knowledge of caring for breast cancer patients will help you understand the options that are available to you. With today's advances in breast reconstruction techniques many things are now possible and I am a firm believer that it's your body, and therefore your choice.
